We convert in all sorts of vans/vehicles. It just depends on which route to the road you select.
Our Base Layout Builds can be constructed in any length wheelbase of Ram Promaster, Ford Transit, and Mercedes Sprinter vehicles.
For Custom Design Conversions, we are happy to build out on any Ram Promaster, Ford Transit, or Mercedes Sprinter wheelbase. Additionally, we will always consider other vehicles for custom conversions (box trucks, buses, etc.)
Our Pre-Built Vans are exclusively designed for and built-in Ram Promaster 159” WB Vehicles.

Build time depends on which conversion option you choose. On average a full conversion will take approximately 2.5 - 3 months from start to finish.
Various factors may impact the timeline including the complexity or custom nature of your build. On average, we recommend starting the build process (design & planning) at least 5-6 months before you would like your completed van.
Please Note: New vans are becoming increasingly hard to acquire. We have relationships with dealerships to help you purchase a van if you do not already have one.

OGA has partnered with Hearth to provide a financing option for all purchases (full builds, partial conversions, used vans for sale, etc.) Visit our financing page for more info on Hearth financing.
OGAVans does not offer financing directly. Some OGA customers rely on personal loans to finance conversions.
OGA has also made arrangements with a few automotive dealers to finance the van conversion when combined with the purchase of a new vehicle. These are typical auto loans that run for 5, 6, or 7 years. Interest rates vary based on individual credit scores, etc. Often lenders require 20% down when financing the combination of a new van and conversion. OGA recommends that customers establish a rough budget for the van + conversion before approaching auto dealers. This enables you to have a reasonable understanding of your likely payments and whether you will qualify.

YES!
OGAVans provides a one-year warranty on all builds (not including natural wear and misuse).
The customer is responsible for knowing the proper use and care of all parts in the conversion. OGAVans will attempt to provide support remotely but the customer recognizes that it may be necessary to bring the van to one of OGA’s facilities if in-shop repairs are needed. For some issues, if bringing the van to one of our shops is a significant inconvenience, other arrangement could be made.
This warranty coverage requires that all repairs are addressed by OGAVans at its facility in Frederick, MD, or in Delta, CO.
Purchased Parts (e.g., batteries, fans, ACs, etc.) - The warranty for “Purchased Parts” fall under the specific manufacturer’s warranty. Nonetheless, OGAVans agrees to address at its own expense any issues that arise during the first 90 days following pick-up of the van so long as the issue does not arise out of accident/misuse and any repairs are done by OGAVans.

Factory windows typically look good and are less expensive than aftermarket windows. However, factory windows usually cannot open while many aftermarket windows can open, often with a slide/screen.
If you want your rear door windows to open, DO NOT purchase a van with a fixed window in that location. However, there is currently no good aftermarket window for the rear door of a Ford Transit. Therefore, OGA recommends that all of its Ford Transit customers wanting rear door windows purchase vans with factory windows in that location.

Typical usage for common items that draw power - see table. (If your solar panel gets good sun, it can bring in an additional 7A/Hr).

OGA welcomes the opportunity of designing a conversion for customers that want to drive and sleep more than 2 people. If interested, fill out the contact form and let us know what vehicle you want to convert.
Customers wanting to install seat belts on benches should consider that most federal and state regulations require front-facing seats with seat belts that have been tested for the specific configuration.
It is important to consider that additional seats often involve building in a longer vehicle or removing/altering the layout of cabinetry.
